The Grooming Centre is very well known within Cleveland for the quality of our scissor trimming. We offer everything from a utility short style to a full scissor finish.

We have numerous breeds of terrier on our books, from the ever popular West Highland White to the lesser known Glen of Imaal.
We trim pets to breed standards or customer requirements.

We offer Hand-stripping as well as clipping to customers, and we are more than willing to discuss your requirements with you prior to booking an appointment.

Because we do not use cages at The Grooming Centre to hold pets in, we respectfully ask that you arrive on time when both dropping off and collecting your pet.

Working with animals is unpredictable at the best of times and we try to adhere to tight timescales, dogs arriving late to be groomed, has a knock on effect for all dogs thereafter.
Therefore, should you arrive more than 15 minutes late, without contacting us, you may lose your appointment slot and the cancellation fee will apply for the wasted appointment. (Please see our policies section)

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR PET HAS A CORRECTLY FITTED COLLAR & LEAD AND IS TOILETED BEFORE ARRIVING AT OUR SALON.

A full groom includes:
Pre bath preparation, nails trimmed, anal glands checked and emptied and ears cleaned if necessary/required.
Hydro-massaging bath followed by the correct drying/style/clip/trim/tidy, either to breed standards or owners requirements.

We offer nail clipping and anal gland expression as a separate service and also your dog can be brought in for partial grooming, eg: a bath and brush with no cut.
